As long as a man with respective 100 1000 judgments against TVN, Tok FM, or Radio ZET continues to do so in the majesty of his office, censoring post factum media statements, introducing the alleged freezing effect and attacking investigative journalists for being worthy of fulfilling the mission of the 4th power? How much longer will this man be at the head of 1 of the most crucial central offices in Poland, having no criticism, playing the function of the absolute ruler of the media ring?
Many factors are liable for this condition. We request to return to history, to the 1992 Broadcasting and tv Act, which defined the principles, mode of operation and organisation and way of appointing its members. Its primary mistake was to submit to politicians (the members of the KRRiT are appointed by the Sejm, legislature and President) and to give it an all-powerful function in regulating and controlling the media marketplace (radio and television) in Poland.
