The ultimate Court has overturned the life conviction for Mamuka K., convicted of murdering 28-year-old Paulina from Łódź in 2018. According to the court, the change of the conviction from 25 years to life imprisonment was not sufficiently justified. The Łódź Court of Appeal will be liable for a fresh and - as the ultimate Court emphasized - "fair" review of the case and imposition of the sentence.
