There are quite a few things in past that I don't understand, but 1 of them bothers me particularly. How the hell did the Polynesians find Hawaii?
From Polynesia to Hawaii is about 4000 km. To hit the tiny islands in the 4th century, sailing on any primitive boat, and inactive to be able to return, that's truly a feat of contention.
