Forgiveness becomes what connects a private sphere to a public sphere. In relationships between individuals it is possible due to love – with all awareness of how unique and uncommon it is feeling. On the another hand, in the public sphere, it can be achieved by an estimate, due to the fact that "what love is in its own narrowly outlined sphere is respect in the wider domain of human affairs."
