Possible sanctions provided for in the EP Rules of Procedure for its breach, include: reprimand; a ban on a associate representing the EP in interparliamentary delegations, in interparliamentary conferences or in interinstitutional forums for a maximum of 1 year; a failure of the right to receive a regular subsistence allowance for a period of 2 to 60 days; a temporary suspension of participation in all or part of the EP's work for a period of 2 to 60 days.
