Georgian Parliament approves ‘ abroad Agents Act’

There have been protests in Tbilisi for respective weeks in connection with the government's effort to adopt the alleged "foreign agents" bill. According to the project, legal persons and media organisations, which get more than 20 percent of their yearly income from abroad, will be considered entities acting on behalf of abroad authorities.
