A dangerous step towards circumventing national law protecting lives. EP for abortion tourism from the EU budget

On 17 December the European Parliament adopted a resolution supporting the European Citizens' Initiative My Voice, My Choiceto increase access to abortion in the European Union and to finance it from the EU budget. The resolution has sparked a sharp political and legal dispute regarding the competences of the Union and the protection of life.
