Donald Trump, president-elect, whose inauguration for the second word is due to take place on January 20, has long been snoring for Greenland. Taking control of the world's largest island may prove to be a large interest for fossil fuel companies. However, as Politico notes, the exploitation of rich deposits located under Greenland's ice can drive the planet into a spiral of climate change, from which it will have no chance of getting out.
