Greece: We will not participate in military operations in the Ormuz Strait

Greece will not participate in any military operation in the Ormuz Strait – present the authorities in Athens reported. In this way, they responded to U.S. president Donald Trump's appeal to support US troops in Iran's blocked Ormuz Strait.

Government spokesperson Pawlos Marinakis said at a press conference that Greece will only participate in the EU maritime mission Aspides, which aims to defend ships
in the Red Sea.
