Government support for Polish families – 800+

For 8 years we have cared about Polish families. We want Poles to live better. We have introduced a number of programs that make this possible. Parents can usage specified programs as: 500+, Good Start, Small+, household Care Capital or Mama +. This is simply a immense chance for many Polish homes, and it is besides a immense chance for children. Thanks to our efforts, from the fresh year, household 500+ will be increased to PLN 800. Parents in financial support can enroll a kid in additional abroad or sports language classes.

The president signed the household 800+ benefit bill

Millions of families live in our country, and each of them is crucial to our government. That is why we have decided to introduce household 800+ alternatively of the current 500+. In this way, we increase children's improvement opportunities throughout Poland. Today, the president of Poland Andrzej Duda signed the bill.

As of 1 January 2024 the increased amount of financial support will flow to Polish families by PLN 300 per month. The another conditions of the programme will stay unchanged.
“The point of our policy is the child’s smile, is the peace and happiness of his parents,” said Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki.

Each kid in the household will receive PLN 9600 per year from the program. Parents will be able to allocate extra funds to the child’s current needs or extracurricular activities. We estimation that nearly 6.7 million children will benefit from household 800+ in 2024.
– The 800+ programme is thanks to it, children can take extra lessons, participate in extra classes, have a quieter life," the head of the government said.

Previous programme household 500+

The programme was introduced in April 2016. It was a revolution in Polish social policy, which allowed Polish families to live a better life. At first, the witness was available for each kid until the age of 18. We changed it, since July 2019 500 PLN per period received all household with a child, regardless of income. A kid who receives 500+ from 2016 to July 2023 received a full of PLN 44,000.

Government support for families

We aid parents to give their children a chance of a better future and an equal start in adulthood. Thanks to our actions, Polish families can benefit from many government programs.

Good Start

At the beginning of each school year, all students get additional disposable 300 PLN. For this intent we have already allocated PLN 6.7 billion, and additional funds received 4.6 million students.

Family Care Capital

These are benefits for parents of children aged 12 to 35 months. Parents receive a full of PLN 12,000 for the second and each subsequent child. We have already covered more than 610 1000 children and the cost of the service is PLN 4.6 billion.

Mama+ Program

It provides a pension to parents who have raised at least 4 children and had no right to a pension. To date, nearly PLN 2 billion has been paid for this purpose, covering more than 73 1000 people.

Small+

It's a program that allows us to make a network of nursery and kindergartens across the country. It is besides financial support to already existing places in the nursery. The implementation of the programme in 2015-2022 allowed to triple the number of childcare facilities, at the end of 2022 there were 230 000 of them.
