The Navy conducted an operation to neutralize almost half a tonne of explosives found at the bottom of the Gulf of Gdańsk. Due to the precise actions of the Miner Divers Group from the 13th Tray Squadron, the threat in the area of planned construction of the LNG terminal was removed.

In the Gulf of Gdańsk, at the site of the prepared investment of the LNG transshipment terminal, artillery remains were discovered from planet War II. Restrictions in the waters of the Gulf of Gdańsk

Naval activities required safety of the site and the introduction of temporary restrictions in the waters of the Gulf of Gdańsk. On land, it was prohibited to stay in the water on a long from Stoga beach to Sobieszewo. This ban besides included Gdańsk beaches, and peculiar safety zones were created in the area of activities. As part of the preparation for the neutralization of the unexploded non-exploded residents of the Tricity received alerts from the Government safety Center (RCB) informing about the threat.

The operation was conducted in cooperation with many services, including the Maritime Office in Gdynia, the Emergency Management Staff of the Pomeranian Provincial Office and the authorities of the City of Gdańsk.
