Two weeks ago, we informed Google about the introduction of a new, cheaper subscription threshold AI Plus, asking a key question about its availability in Poland.
Today we know the continuation of this communicative – the company announced an extension of the service by 40 countries. Unfortunately, the fresh list again lacked our region.
Reminder: What is Google AI Plus?
For the record, Google AI Plus is simply a more affordable plan to supply advanced AI tools to a wider audience. As part of the subscription, users receive 200 GB of data space (shared into Gmail, Disk and Photos), higher limits and precedence access to language models in Gemini (including 2.5 Pro) and limited access to Veo 3 Fast video generation model.
The package besides includes the integration of Gemini side panel with Workspace applications (Documents, Gmail) and 200 AI credits per period to be utilized in more advanced tools.
Expansion bypasses Poland
After its first debut in Indonesia, Google decided to importantly grow the availability of the AI Plus plan. The fresh list of 40 countries included Mexico, Egypt, Nigeria, the Philippines, Vietnam and Ukraine neighbouring us. Despite specified a wide expansion, covering many emerging markets, Poland was again left out.
At this point, it is not clear what Google's further plans are for the implementation of the AI Plus subscription in European Union countries, including Poland. Users in our country inactive gotta choose from only standard Google 1 plans and more costly Premium AI package, offering access to the most advanced models. We will monitor the situation and inform you as shortly as fresh information on the availability of the service in Poland is available.
