The gold price reached nearly $3160 an ounce after the president of the United States announced Donald Trump's customs duties on goods from all over the planet – said Bloomberg's agency. That's another record. Investors are afraid that tariffs will weaken the global economy. Gold always gains value in periods of economical uncertainty.
