The president of the Republic of Poland Andrzej Duda posthumously awarded the Golden Cross of Merit to Ms. Margaret Dynak, an worker of the University of Warsaw, bestially murdered on the Main Campus of the university.
On 13 May Prof. Alojzy Z. Nowak, Rector of the University of Warsaw, applied to the president of Poland for the award of tragically deceased Margaret Dynek – the victim of a violent attack on 7 May.
The Golden Cross of Merit was given by president Andrzej Duda posthumously to Mrs. Margaret – for merit in her activities for the local community.
On behalf of the President, the Secretary of State at the Chancellery of the president of the Republic of Poland, Minister Andrzej Dera, handed over the award on behalf of his immediate household during ceremony ceremonies held on 19 May in the Church of Divine Providence in Warsaw.
