Manowska: This is not any large tragedy, any scandal
On Monday's interview (June 23) on Radio Zet I, president of the ultimate Court Margaret Manowska mentioned that specified situations had occurred in the past. – I have a 2010 resolution of the SN, a resolution of the Labour Chamber, where incorrect votes were attributed in the second circular and the ultimate Court explicitly expressed its opinion that the protest is legitimate but does not affect the result of the election. This isn't any large tragedy, any scandal. This is not the thing that first happened," she said.
It has been a week since the deadline for reporting protests on the 2025 presidential election. Manowska reported that their number exceeded 50,000. "More than 90% are duplicate protests, the model of which was made available by Mr Giertych. The employees of SN call them "germen," she said.
– Out of these "gircels" that have entered the SN, a very large number – a fewer 1000 protests – has PESEL MP Giertych, due to the fact that people could not even enter their PESEL, she added and mentioned that "protests that have specified disadvantages will be left unrecognized".
Let us remind you that the ultimate Court has scheduled 2 public electoral protests for June 27. The gathering will take place at 9:00 and 11:00 in the Chamber of Extraordinary Control and Public Affairs. This is part of the process of assessing the validity of the elections, which the SN must complete by 2 July at the latest.
Manowska on Radio Zet was asked if the court would be able to review all protests by July 2. "It cannot be said with certainty, due to the fact that I do not know what hostile actions are ahead of us," she admitted and clarified, that it is about "putting SN in any writings, various actions contrary to the law.".
