14 February 2025 is the National National Army Memorial Day. This day marks the 83rd anniversary of the transformation, at the command of the Chief Leader General Władysław Sikorski, the Armed Combat Union (ZWZ) into the National Army. General Stefan Rowecki became the first commander of the AK. It should be remembered that the organization of the Polish underground state started when
inactive the last troops fought the German and Russian invaders. On September 27, 1939, the Polish triumph Service (SZP) was created by Gen. Michał Karaszewicz-Tokarewski, then renamed the Armed Combat Union (13.11. 1939).

The Gliwicki Klub Gazeta Polska paid tribute to the fallen and dead heroes with a minute of silence and prayer and inflammation at the graves of officers and soldiers of the Home Army at the Central Cemetery in Gliwice. At a club meeting, a associate of the planet Army Soldiers Union shared his memories of AK heroes
persecuted by russian “liberators” and subordinate to their native services. Mr Jarosław Wieczorek was the guest of the meeting, who raised a lively discussion erstwhile addressing current political problems.
