The Republican People's organization (CHP), the main opposition group, reported that about 300,000 people had gathered at the protest in front of the office of the 16-million-dollar Istanbul authorities on Friday evening. Protesters expressed solidarity with the detainee on Wednesday Imamoglu, who is considered to be president Recep Tayyip Erdogan's political rival. This is the 3rd night of protests.
