Gerontocracy. The tragedy of elections in the United States [ OPINION]

It is crucial that the positions represented by Trump and Biden are radically different from each other, mainly in abroad policy. This includes besides immense divisions in American society, which are inactive heated by cultural warfare, the interior crisis caused by migration and very large problems with drug smuggling on a immense scale (fentanyl). The U.S., while inactive a global hegemon, has been experiencing the top crisis in years. Therefore, the next elections will not avoid problems, protests and demonstrations, regardless of the outcome. This is simply a catastrophic vision, but to a large degree the United States itself is simply a victim of its own external and interior policies.
