

The parliamentary fractions of the CDU, CSU and SPD want to apply to the Bundestag, which would amend the Basic Act so that defence expenditure exceeding 1 percent of gross home product is exempt from the brake limits of debt, announced on Tuesday by Friedrich Merz at a press conference with CSU and SPD leaders in Berlin.

Germany wants to spend EUR 500 billion on infrastructure

SPD Secretary-General Lars Klingbeil explained that EUR 100 billion (about PLN 415 billion) of this amount would be made available to the Lands, reports the tagesschau portal.
