"At this point, we do not request a debate on German atomic weapons," said Minister of defence of RFN Boris Pistorius at the Munich safety Conference on Wednesday. The head of the Defence Ministry stressed that Berlin's precedence was to strengthen its conventional potential. As he pointed out, Germany plans to devote 3.5% of GDP to defence by 2029.
