Germany opens doors for CCS

On 21 November, Bundesrat approved the Bundestag-voted amendment of the Carbon retention Act (Cochlendioxid-Speicherungsgesetz), which provides a legal framework for the construction in Germany of infrastructure for the usage of carbon capture and retention technology on an industrial scale.
