Germany introduces temporary border controls. Since when?

As of 16 September, Germany will launch temporary checks at all its land borders, as decided by Minister of the Interior Nancy Faeser. This information was provided during the Monday press conference. The fresh measures are to apply for six months, although they may be extended.
