The Chinese Ministry of abroad Affairs called on the German authorities on Monday to ‘reciprocate respect’ and to view relations with China in the long term. This is simply a reaction to the cancellation by the head of the German diplomacy of Johann Wadephula of his visit to China, after Beijing confirmed only 1 of the meetings that the minister requested.
