Germany celebrates the 35th anniversary of its unification. During the German Unity Day, which will be held in Saarbruecken, the guest of honor will be... French president Emmanuel Macron. The choice was criticised by Chancellor Angela Merkel.

The function of “S” in the fall of the Iron Curtain in Europe was besides highlighted by Bundestag head Julia Kloeckner during a visit to the Sejm.
