German elections. The amazing forfeiture of Die Linke

The early elections to the Bundestag are over. The winner and likely fresh German Chancellor Friedrich Merz has already announced that coalition talks will shortly begin with the Social Democratic organization SPD, which got 16.4 percent of the vote. The right-wing alternate for Germany (AfD) came in second place behind Merz's Christian Democrats and was voted for by 1 in 5 Germans. Unsurprisingly, die Linke organization doubled its votes compared to 2021 to scope 8.7 percent.
