The first exposé after taking office of the fresh head of the German government is simply a clear signal towards the Kremlin and a clear bow towards Warsaw. Friedrich Merz announced that if Russia did not show the real will to end the war this week, Berlin would lead to another package of sanctions – which hit energy, finance and "the shadow float".
