Georgia at the crossroads: between Europe, Russia and isolation [ANALYZA]

Despite this role, the Georgian Dream organization in Georgia is increasingly putting its European partners in a hard position. The force on the opposition has reached unprecedented levels in fresh months, which raises serious concerns in EU associate States. Opposition leaders and social activists are regularly arrested or forced to emigrate. Steps are besides being taken to exclude competing parties from political life and to limit participation in elections of Georgian citizens surviving abroad.
