Gen. Komornicki: Readiness and combat capability key to effective defence [OPINION]

Combat readiness and capability are among the youngest, and at the same time the basic principles of the Polish art of war, which constitute the combat possible of the armed forces. They should besides guarantee that surprise is avoided in the event of a crisis and war, as well as during combat operations. In addition, they constitute an undeniable warrant of the realization of the overarching goal of the state's defence system, which is to deter, prevent and halt emergencies by immediately resisting the threat of application or application of military force by the aggressor to defend and defend the sovereignty, independency of the Polish nation, its territorial integrity and the inviolability of borders.
