Against this request comes the Ministry of Interior and Administration, releasing a fresh government application called "Where to Hide".

Where to take shelter in case of emergency? An address list platform is already available
Until now, the location of the shelters could be found through the "Schrony" service, but its functionality was in no way adapted to emergency situations, which was commonly complained to by users. In view of this, the Ministry of abroad Affairs undertook the implementation of a much more transparent application, which was officially presented during the conference on 22 December 2025.
“The fresh software, which will show all the catalogued, already assessed places of hiding, where it can be sought today”, announced Minister Marcin Kierwiński. This is 1 of the projects implemented under the civilian Protection and Defence Programme, whose budget for the years 2025-2026 is PLN 34 billion.

"Where to Hide" is not just a map. You don't request the net to usage it.
Both the application and the web page kisieukric.pl are already moving and can be tested. This is simply a kind of interactive map that allows users to find shelters closest to their current residence. Moreover, erstwhile the user selects the point, he sets the fastest way to scope the location. Over time, it is to be expanded into another facilities, including information about the condition of individual places or how many people can accommodate.
The most important, however, is that the app and platform function offline, meaning that there is no request to connect to the internet. This is due to the option of downloading data on the phone, which allows downloading points within a radius of up to 50 kilometres. In turn, the addresses we want to keep permanently can be stored in a peculiar list and modified depending on the needs.
