In connection with the [official state visit of the King and Queen of Sweden](https://defence24.pl/polityka-obronna/wizyta-krola-szwecji-w-polsce-nowe-otwarcie-relacji-i-raport-o-bezpieczenstwie-baltyku) to Poland, the Swedish and Polish defence ministers, Pål Jonson and Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, met at the Gdynia Oksywie Naval Port – officially, to strengthen the "strong Swedish-Polish partnership in the field of defence and safety within the Baltic Sea safety Pact." It was assumed that during this gathering topics specified as expanding safety in the Baltic Sea and protecting the existing critical infrastructure there, cooperation between the Polish and Swedish naval forces, and responding to hybrid threats would be discussed.
