
After 5:00 p.m., the Red Cross was handed over to the first 3 of the 90 hostages held by Hamas. Reports have been confirmed by Israel’s defence Forces. The exchange takes place as part of a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.
On the video footage available on the Internet, you can see crowds of people gathering right next to Red Cross vehicles in the square in the centre of Gaza. There were besides armed members of Hamas.
“Times of Israel, ” reports 3 women decision on their own. The convoy that protects them is on its way to where they are to be picked up by Israel's defence Forces.
Among the 90 prisoners Hamas is freed in exchange for the 3 hostages held by Israel, there are 69 women and 21 men. The youngest is only 15 years old.

Gaza Strip. Hamas and Israel agree to ceasefire
At 10:15 Polish time the truce between Israel and Hamas entered into force. Initially, it was planned that the ceasefire would take effect at 7:30, but Hamas did not supply the hostage list at the time, so it was decided to proceed the attacks. Eventually, however, the list of these individuals was delivered.
Giving names 24 hours in advance was 1 of the conditions for entering into force of the truce between Hamas and Israel. In response, the Palestinian organisation reported that the hold in transferring the names of the hostages was due to ‘technical considerations’ resulting from their incorrect record. At the same time, Hamas confirmed its readiness to meet its commitments and implement the truce agreement.
The ongoing war in the Gaza Strip started a Hamas attack on Israel on October 7, 2023. At that time, the organization attacked the confederate part of the country, targeting frontier kibbuces, military bases, and youth gathered at the music festival.
Over 1.2 000 people died in the attacks, including citizens of more than 30 countries. 251 people were abducted to the Gaza Strip as hostages. In response, Israel began armed action in the Palestinian enclave. According to the wellness department in Gaza on the Palestinian side, more than 45,800 people have been killed in conflict so far and at least 109, 196 have been injured.
The global Criminal Court in The Hague issued on 21 November warrants for the arrest of Netanyahu, erstwhile defence minister Joawa Galant charged with war crimes and crimes against humanity committed during the war in the Gaza Strip, as well as Hamas commander Mohammed Deif.
