Blackpool police in northwestern England gained an different helper in fighting drug dealers. With a talking bird, 15 criminals were sentenced to a full of 103 years in prison.
During a police raid, police found a telephone with a recording that proved to be crucial evidence in the case. The video shows a parrot owner talking to her partner and the bird itself who repeats the phrase “two for 25”. This is simply a “branch” word utilized by drug dealers to sale 2 portions of cocaine for £25.
On another video found, a talking parrot plays with money that is likely derived from the cocaine trade.
The parrot owner was sentenced to 12 years in prison for her engagement in heroin, crack, marijuana and ketamine smuggling. Her partner heard an extra conviction of 19.6 in prison.
A parrot who helped exposure the traders became a hero of a comic video by police officers who participated in the action. It shows a money-gathering parrot signing: “What is the top talent of your pet? Sit? Give me your hand? How about “say something”?’
