In conversation with the portal Doraczy.pl president of the Holy Benedict Foundation, Bogusław Kiernicki, referred to the alleged "accounts" of the Justice Fund conducted by the current management of the Ministry of Justice. As he stressed, the foundation implemented the task of the portal Confirmation.info, supporting the household and counteracting pathological phenomena, financed by the Justice Fund.
Kierinicki recalled that "the contract was signed for the implementation of the project, which was to last until the end of 2025” and “the full amount to be paid was PLN 4.7 millionIt’s okay. ” The Foundation received only PLN 2 million from the planned sum and, as the president assures, all funds were utilized as intended. As a consequence of the project, a portal, studio and hundreds of journalism materials were created: "2.5 1000 materials were created, about 2,000 texts and 500 video materials. We had a fewer million entrances to the portal, so we crossed the parameters established in the project.“ He stressed.
The situation changed after Minister Adam Bodnar took over the ministry. The Foundation – despite the previously adopted reports – did not receive another tranche of backing for 2024. ‘We found out about it from the media. We have not been informed of this by law“ – says Bogusław Kiernicki. In March 2025, the organisation received a letter calling for reimbursement with interest.
The president of the Foundation powerfully opposes the allegations of the ministry, which he claims are of a "ideological and political nature". ‘Not only due to the fact that we spent the money we received on the gold for the purposes set out in the contract. The allegations are ideological or even discriminatory“ He said. Kiernicki points out that the foundation has 20 years of experience in public activities and has carried out over a 1000 social and cultural events.
In his opinion, the current actions of the authorities towards the St. Benedict and akin organizations bear the signs of repression. ‘Repressions concern only beneficiaries identified as conservative and Catholic“ He said. According to the President, the fresh administration wants “appoint the beneficiaries of the Justice Fund to the division” and the case of his organization is to be “a informing to others who effort to be nonsubjective and independentIt’s okay. ”
