From Saturday the German Eurofighters will defend the Polish sky

Along with planes, about 150 soldiers from German 31 will be sent to Poland. Tactical Air Wings - “Boelcke” with additional ground handling support option. Crewed aircraft will be stationed at the 22nd Tactical Air Base close Malbork. The presence of the ally's air force will supply Poland with a strengthening of the fast consequence strategy (QRA). The QRA strategy consists of continuing aircraft readiness for immediate take-off to intercept unidentified objects in airspace. For safety reasons, it is crucial that the strategy includes 24-hour on-calls to guarantee continuous protection. German machines will defender the Polish sky as part of the Air Police mission.
