The first time about the anti-aircraft division of the Wagner Group began to be loud on the occasion of the fighting in Libya, erstwhile it became suspicious that Russian Pancyr-S1 artillery and rocket kits could be operated by Wagner Group mercenaries. Wagner's anti-aircraft systems were, of course, active in Ukraine, for example in the fighting for Bakhmut, and ended their conflict way by shooting down Russian aircraft during the march on Moscow.
