An alarming forecast: the economical cost of overweight and obesity will be higher than Poland's defence spending

Economic costs of obesity and overweight in 2060 will consume 4.86% of Poland's GDP – warns the Polish economical Institute (PIE) and informs that nearly 65 percent of adult Poles are struggling with these diseases. For comparison, Poland's planned defence spending next year is about 4.7% of GDP.
