Fighting sports aren't for everyone. Although their centuries-old tradition from various cultural circles inactive inspires athletes to physical and intellectual self-improvement, their very specificity creates controversy. Especially erstwhile we talk about modern branches of this sport. Commonly referred to as the "freak fight" discipline, force has made a profitable show, crossing the boundaries of what can be called sport.
The ‘freak’ itself is attributed to the varieties of any martial arts, primarily derived from boxing, kick-boxing and MMA. The expression of discipline remains similar, but it is characterized by the fact that in most cases there are no rules. The main nonsubjective of the freak fights is simply a controversial spectacle, which serves to attract as many viewers as possible before the screens. Their mechanics so focuses on the presence of online celebrities, aggression, unfair principles, and loud scandals that have long gone beyond good taste. The government begins to discuss the future of these events.
Discussions about freak fights come back like boomerang. Each successive gala raises reasonable doubts about the transmission of events that may negatively affect the younger audience. Fears come from nothing — the most popular Polish frak-fight federations, specified as “Fame MMA”, “Prime MMA” and “Clout”, are deliberately encouraging amateur players to aggressive behavior, names and to draw on each another alleged dirt. The harmful content, presented at each of the 3 most popular galas, has long been of interest to the Polish authorities, but now the bitterness spell has been able to pour out completely. The lighter turned out to be the twenty-second installment of the “Fame MMA” gala, organized at the National Stadium in Warsaw.
Donald Tusk's press conference was held on October 29. During it, he referred to the last statements of the Minister of Sport, Sławomir Nitras, according to which, galas promoting aggression and inappropriate behaviour should absolutely not take place on the National PGE, which he considered to be "holy" for Poles. The Minister besides added that due to their harmfulness, freak fights should be strictly banned. The Prime Minister joined the choir of voices expressing concerns about the possible influence of this kind of gala on the young generation, and besides went on to boldly say that they could be "even more harmful than the influence of pornography". According to him, people choose what they want to see, and the most crucial function of politicians will be to defend those who are prone to mimic harmful behavior. From the Prime Minister's words it can be concluded that the first effort to fight freak fights will not be their full blockade, but the introduction of strict age restrictions at the beginning of the gala, or erstwhile purchasing access to transmission.
Political knockdown
Donald Tusk's press conference launched a wave of statements by another politicians who, erstwhile asked about their feelings towards the freak fights, did not hide their shared reluctance: erstwhile Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki called for fast intervention on the harmful effects of the "pseudo gal" on underage spectators, and Deputy Minister of Sport, Ireneusz Raś, called the freak fights "solids beyond the limits of quirk". Krzysztof Bosak proposed to fight the federations by educating a young generation with healthy physical activity. It is besides worth mentioning the message by Deputy Prime Minister Krzysztof Gawkowski, who accused the frak fighting federations of "promoting crimes against the wellness and life of another man".
Many online portals have begun to be written about the widely voiced opinions of politicians on freak fights, including in peculiar "Interia" and "Polsat News". Articles hitting the Polish federations appeared at an express pace, and the peculiar tv editions on the demoralisation of children by the “freak show” federations presented at the same time put their further functioning under a large question mark. Their situation does not improve the fact that any Polish sports arenas besides gradually decide to close doors to organizers of specified events. The first example is ERGO Arena in Gdańsk, which frequently cooperates with the sports organization Konfrontacja Sztuki Struki, the largest organizer of the classical MMA fights in Poland.
The most popular frak fight show in Poland, “Fame MMA”, was set against the wall. The individual articles can inactive be ignored, but the massive attack forced them to print authoritative statements. The Federation responded in item to all the charges that have been made, stating that it maintains advanced standards of age verification procedures... She besides defended the message that their galas increasingly match a professional sporting event, losing the character of an amateur event. 1 thing is certain: octagon will not verify the fight between the Polish government and sports federations. However, he does not request to do so to make the same - destructive knockout more and more possible for those others.
