On Thursday, the legendary circular Table disappeared from the Presidential Palace, and Karol Nawrocki announced the end of post-communism. It was bitterly signed by Solidarity activist Władysław Frasyniuk, who accused the head of the state that "he would not have been both president and in politics if not for this circular Table".

On Thursday 1 of the most recognizable symbols of the Polish systemic transformation was lifted from the Presidential Palace. The circular Table, where power talks with the opposition were held in 1989, was transferred to the Museum of Polish History. From 2027 it will be available to visitors as part of a permanent exhibition devoted to the latest past of Poland.

However, as Onet stated, it was not Karol Nawrocki's decision. – The arrangements for transferring the circular Table to the Museum of Polish past are from a good fewer years ago, inactive from the presidency of Mr Andrzej Duda. Now it just materialized – said Dr. Michał Przeperski, Press spokesperson of the Museum of Polish History.

However, the fresh president evidently approved this decision. – present free, sovereign, independent Poland can afford more than idealizing the circular Table. It must be remembered, but do not pay tribute to him at the Presidential Palace – he said on Thursday and added: "Today post-communism ended in Poland. Long live free Poland".
