The French take an artillery lesson from Ukraine

The usage of unmanned aircraft in Ukraine has long been a ‘everyday bread’ which has not only importantly improved the accuracy of indirect fire from artillery, mortars or even jet-free guns, but besides importantly increased the situation awareness of soldiers. This combined with systems specified as Topaz or [Kropyva](https://defence24.pl/war-on-ukrainie-report-special-defence24/bmp-1-as-artillery-with-fire-corrected) translated into an advantage for Russians. Unfortunately, this besides works in the another direction and the Russian artillery allowed the elimination of western types of barrel artillery or multi-guided rocket launchers utilized by the Ukrainian army.
