French aviso in Gdynia [FOTO]

The ship belongs to kind D’Estienne d’Orves (from the prototype unit name) or A 69. A full of 20 ships were built at Arsenal de Lorient, 17 of which fell under the French flag. They were incarnate in service from 1976 to 1984. The remaining 3 were incorporated into the Argentine Navy, with 2 of them originally being built for South Africa. Following the UN's introduction of South Africa sanctions, the order of 2 frigate took over Argentina, which had added an additional 3rd unit of this type. Of the 17 French ships, 6 were sold to Turkey and 5 others were withdrawn from service.
