France lacks missiles in the mediate East

France consistently maintains its defensive stance against the confrontation between the US and Israel and Iran. The French armed forces presently keep about 8,000 troops in the mediate East, with nearly 50 Rafale fighters and respective ships supporting them. The naval presence is the Charles de Gaulle aircraft carrier with about 26 Rafale fighters and E-2D early informing aircraft, as well as 2 landing ships and respective destroyers.
