French Parliament Accepted the "aided suicide" Act. Under its power, adults who endure from serious and incurable diseases will be able to get “help” in their lives. The bill will now go to the Senate, but present the expected consequence is to approve the death bill. The most gruesome component of the bill is the fact that for opposing euthanasia the bill provides for a punishment of up to 2 years imprisonment.

France legalized euthanasia. Supporters of the approved task talk of a "historical vote". Until now, French law has only allowed "palliative sedation" in cases where the patient was to die in a short time. Now, for the first time, the home of Deputies advocated the establishment of the right to euthanasia. This is to apply only to adults, terminally sick and conscious of their decision.

The task besides provides for the anticipation of euthanasia for those who are incapable to accept the deadly substance themselves. Doctors will be able to trust on a conscience clause to refuse participation in the procedure.

Emmanuel Macron called the parliament's vote "an crucial step" in the context of human rights development. Meanwhile, French Conservatives are afraid not only about the content of the regulations, but besides about the atmosphere in which they were adopted. It is referred to as “dignity”, “the right to choose”, but it is not said that the patient in loneliness or depression (which frequently leads to terminal diseases) does not choose full consciously.
Tpeople to be helped, not offered death as a solution. According to the law proposed in France, the patient may administer a lethal dose to himself or through an accredited healthcare professional if he is incapable to do so himself. Anyone who is considered to be obstructing the right to die may be sentenced to 2 years in prison and a fine of EUR 30,000.
The example of the Netherlands, Belgium and Canada shows that legalization of this kind of killing over time becomes a gateway to extending it to children, people with depression or needy care for pensioners. In Canada 150,000 people are killed annually as part of the euthanasia.
OUR COMMENTS: As we can see, the European democracy of the 21st century is simply a strategy that tells the sick: "Die due to the fact that we cannot aid you." Yet, euthanasia is not an act of mercy, but an institutionalized resignation from the conflict for human life. This is the civilization of death, of which St.John Paul II wrote. In turn punishment for opposition to killing people in the majesty of the law, is simply a classical of totalitarian systems.
