France with fresh mortar this year

The French fresh self-propelled mortar programme [at the end of last year](https://defence24.pl/power-arms/French-self-end-tests) reached the desired phase in ending state tests. The production of the first copies is now underway, 8 of which are to be delivered to the 11th Marine Artillery Regiment, which will become the first formation to usage them. At the end of July, the first 2R2M mortar to be the main weapon of Griffon MEPAC was completed at Thales and sent to KNDS France to integrate into the chassis.
