France paralyzed by protests. Hundreds of thousands on the streets, clashes with police

Password-organised protests Bloquons tout (Let's block everything) partially paralyzed the country. 175,000 people (according to the Ministry of the Interior) and 250,000 (according to trade unionists) took part in the demonstrations. In Paris, 203 people were detained, all over the country 473, 339 of whom were put in temporary custody. Camp Politicians Emmanuel Macron stress that the mobilisation was far from record, for example from the time of protests against pension reform, erstwhile hundreds of thousands of citizens went out on the streets. And although this is true, due to the fact that the action did not completely paralyze the country, it showed the strength of social anger, not included in conventional political and union structures.
