The French prosecutor informed about the arrest of a Polish truck driver who collided
Tuesday morning with a high-speed TGV train at a railway crossing in northern France.

The D.A. said an investigation into a traffic accident was initiated. A 30-year-old driver was arrested for “intended breach of the safety obligation”.
The truck was carrying a "mobile military bridge" to France, which was utilized during military training in Belgium," the French army reported. The DA added that the driver is simply a civilian.
President of the National Society of the French Railways (SNCF) Jean Castex declared that rail traffic on this line would be completely halted for at least a week.
