On Thursday, the head of the French MFA Jean-Noël Barrot reported that 2 French diplomats who had fallen victim to aggression from the Iranian services had already returned to the country. The minister accused the authorities in Tehran of trying to discourage France from supporting Iranian society.
Speaking on the air of France Inter radio, the minister announced that the embassy staff in Tehran had returned to Paris Wednesday evening. Diplomats are “shocked”
and they do not want to return to Tehran; they will proceed their mission, but from Paris – Barrot reported.
