France will strengthen the northern flank of NATO in Finland

At the NATO summit in Ankara, France announced its intention to join the Multinational Land Forces (FLF) in Finland. These forces, commanded by Sweden, have their base in Boden, Sweden and Rovaniemi, Finland, and are a key component in the deterrence and defence of the Alliance on the northern flank of NATO.
