France will reenforce NATO's northern flank in Finland

During the NATO summit in Ankara, France announced its intention to join the multinational Forward Land Forces (FLF) in Finland. These forces, commanded by Sweden, are based in Boden, Sweden, and Rovaniemi, Finland, and constitute a key component of the Alliance’s deterrence and defence on NATO’s northern flank.
