France orders hundreds of Servals

This order was announced in addition to another major arms purchases for the French army, specified as more than 100 CAESAR Mk II artillery systems, 1,300 Akeron MP anti-tank guided missiles, and 329 Mistral 3 very short-range anti-aircraft missiles. So far, the French Army has been guaranteed the acquisition of 189 Serval vehicles, so the contract signed in fresh days increases this number to more than 600 units. Its value was set at €500 million. This means that, according to the current plans, little than 380 vehicles will inactive be ordered. The first servals were delivered at the end of October 2022, and a full of 978 vehicles are expected to be delivered by the end of 2030.
