On Friday, EU countries reached an agreement to impose an 18th package of sanctions on Russia. This is "unprecedented restrictions" - said the head of the French Ministry of abroad Affairs Jean-Noel Barrot. He assured that the EU and the US would force Russia's leader Vladimir Putin to agree to a truce in the war in Ukraine.
