French diplomats were active in the preparation of Volodymyr Zelenski's letter to U.S. president Donald Trump, which was to aid reconstruct relations after an argument at the Oval Office on 28 February, quotes French authoritative paper Politico.
"French diplomats acted as mediators in agreeing the terms of the conciliation of Zelenski's letter to Trump", she stated.
According to the newspaper, diplomats from France, large Britain and Germany wondered how to reconstruct relations between Trump and Zelenski.
On February 28, Trump reprimanded Zelenski in the White home erstwhile he came to sign a joint agreement on the improvement of Ukrainian underground resources. The American leader demanded that the head of the Kiev government agree to a ceasefire and halt criticizing Russian president Vladimir Putin. U.S. Vice president J.D. Vance later told Fox News that Zelenski could not return to the Oval Office until he refused to discuss details of the peace agreement on Ukraine.
Zelenski then tried to apologize, saying that he was sorry about what had happened, and besides said that he agreed to negociate as shortly as possible. He later speculated about the argument in the White home and said he was “disappointed” that the gathering with the US president went “bad”.
